When your Instagram account is disabled, you become a target.
Scammers know people are stressed, emotional, and looking for answers. That’s exactly when fake “recovery services” appear.
Here are red flags to watch for immediately:
• Anyone claiming they have a “direct Meta contact”
• Guarantees like “100% recovery” or “24–48 hour results”
• Requests for your login details or verification codes
• Being asked to move the conversation to Telegram or WhatsApp
• Messages that start with “I can help you get your account back”
No one outside Meta can manually unlock your account.
Paying someone does not speed things up, and in many cases it leads to:
– Permanent loss of the account
– Additional violations added to your profile
– Stolen personal information
💡 If someone messages you offering help:
– Do not reply
– Do not click links
– Do not share screenshots
– Report and block them
This group will never recommend paid recovery services or unofficial tools.
If you’re unsure whether a message is real or fake, you can post about it here (with personal details hidden), and we’ll help you check.
Staying patient is hard, but staying safe matters more.
