The legal drinking age in Belgium is 16 for beer and wine, and 18 for spirits. ID checks are common for spirits but rare for beer & wine unless you look very young.

SMOKING AGE

The legal age to buy tobacco products is 18. Smoking is banned in indoor public places, on public transport, and in workplaces.
