Closer Lives Emporium

We were both recovering heart broken poets on Instagram (cliché we know but it's true) in Feb. 2019, where we met and found a fairy-tale of a relationship (it's funny how the universe likes to do these things right!?). I was living in Canada and Leon was living in England.

*As I once wrote, love may not always move mountains but it can certainly cross seas*

We've shared us physically meeting for the first time in Australia for a Royal Caribbean cruise and our story from there with our followers, fans and friends on Instagram. It was a pretty natural and unintentional thing for us to do really, especially after both being quite active members of the poetry community on Instagram prior to us connecting (yes, there is such a thing lol).

We got engaged at Aphrodite's Rock in Cyprus after four months and a previous one month long date (imagine a first date lasting one month and covering 5 countries, needless to say we got to know each other QUITE well!). Leon moved to Canada with me in September 2019. Thankfully we were able to be together through out the on-goings of 2020 something we are ever grateful for as so many couples were unable to see one another or be together.

In January 2021 we decided to make some major life changes. Being confined and not being able to have the life style we were accustomed to, along with immigration difficulties etc we decided it was time for a change. So we sold, donated, stored all of our possessions and rented out our properties and headed out for the digital nomadic lifestyle. Go big or go home right?! (hey I should put that on a tee shirt :D ) It's kinda how we do things...it's like a motto....so here we are and we are currently touring the fantastic country of Albania and loving it. We plan to see as much of the world as possible.

Jenn is a published writer and author and a former blogger in her 40's and has spent much of her life raising children (both her own and others) Jenn is the founder many organizations and a variety of start up projects. She is a former funeral director, a certified death coach, life, confidence and mindfulness coach. Jenn could be a perpetual student of the humanities she's a fan of culture, astrology (she's a Scorpio) living life to the fullest and finding your true calling and purposes in life through manifestation and the power of belief. Jenn's the intense but laid back one.

Leon is in his 30's (he's a cancer), never married, with no children (prior to meeting Jenn and her famjam). He formerly worked in retail and antiques/reclamation before leaving it all behind to join Jenn in Canada. Leon is a published author, fan of Brandy, KFC and SUBWAY and loves history, architecture, soccer (sorry FOOTBALL - Arsenal), pool, technology, and politics. Leon is the polite but particular one.

We are here to create unique and awesome products to inspire and spread joy. We have so many ideas and we are super excited to infuse all of our products with a touch of our relationship, be it travel inspired, poetry inspired or simply inspired by you - our customers!
